The 5th annual Dining under the Stars is starting up again on May 2 from 5-11pm. Every Wednesday until September, State Street, ranging from Orange to Jackson, will be closed off and the street will become an open air restaurant.

The Americana Roots Ramble will take place on State Street in Media on April 21 from 7:30pm-1am. Tickets are $15 in advance, or $20 on the day of the event. Sixteen venues located on State Street will be presenting all-ages musical entertainment; some will be available to watch over dinner at great local restaurants such as Margaret Kuos and Lotus.

The 23rd annual Stratford Friends Auction presented by the Parents Association will take place at Paxon Hollow Country Club on March 9 from 6:30-10 pm. Auction tickets are $50 and you can also sponsor a teacher for $50.

Photographer, lecturer and horticulturalist Mark Gormel will be giving a talk presented by the Chester-Ridley-Crum Watershed Association and Penn State Brandywine at the Tomezsko Building Auditorium on February 12 from 2-3:30. This is a free event.

The holidays are upon us once again and everyone is looking for some fun things to do. If you need something to do in December look no further than downtown Media for lots of holiday fun and frivolity. Free parking will be available at the Olive St. Garage during all the events.
